Hello Fellow Michiganders,
My dealer is Crest Ford in Centerline and has been pretty good in communicating.
So far they are at MSRP, $500 refundable deposit at time of order, $200 doc fee, no other fees.
Received the following email on the Jan. 18.
I’m going to wait a few weeks before ordering.

Congratulations! You are just days away from being able to convert your Bronco Reservation into an order.
Order banks are opening soon! Beginning January 20th, we will have appointments available to convert the reservation into your order. Our goal is to walk you through the Bronco details and help guide you through the process.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend visiting Ford's Build & Price Tool to start figuring out which Bronco is right for you.*
Here are some key dates moving forward:

March 19th, 2021: The deadline to place your order. Ford is honoring the timestamp on your reservation when building and fulfilling Bronco orders.

May 2021: We will reach out to you again with your delivery date. Again, the timing of your delivery will also be based on your reservation timestamp, along with the model you select and options you choose.

June 2021: Bronco's will begin to arrive!!

December 2021: Production of 2022 Broncos begins. Due to a shortened production year for 2021, it is anticipated that many reservation holders will be receiving 2022 model year Broncos.
On another exciting note, we now have the 2021 Bronco Sport on site! You may note some similarities in color and features. This could help you as you place your Bronco order.
Please don't hesitate to respond to this email to schedule your appointment to prepare and finalize your Bronco order. You may also call me directly directly at (586)755-2100. Thank you, Dwain!
*please note, online ordering is not available.
Sincerely,
Jasmine Gadie

Hey Geist! Spoke to salesman today at ROB Ford. They didn’t know jack about process. Makes me really concerned. He said I need to B&P then submit my order online, myself. Tried to correct him and suggest he needs to submit my order, but he wasn’t having it. He does know though AZ plans are accepted but not x plan. He also didn’t ask for additional money as a down payment. so I’m going to send him approved credit, AZ plan pin, and a copy of my b&p.

Placed order over phone today at Bill Brown - no additional deposit needed currently. Z plan will be applied. Got my confirmation email shortly after.
Who is their Bronco Specialist at Bill Brown?

Placed my order online with Bill Brown yesterday, got Z plan pricing as well.

I'm not sure who their Bronco specialist is, I asked for my reservation to be switched to a salesmen who is a friend of the family.

I think I might have a super low reservation #, it was around the 250 slot on that sequential tracking thread.

My reservation is with Pat Millikan Ford in Redford. I've ordered several cars from them in the past. It's always been a smooth process. They sent me an e-mail on Tuesday saying they would call me. I was called by the general sales manager yesterday, and I'll place my order today ay 11. I wasn't calling them all week or knocking down their door because I know we have time and they know what they are doing. I don't expect them to have Bronco6G forum member level of knowledge. They'll happily take my order and I'll eventually get a Bronco.

That being said, the general sales manager also has a Bronco order so he is pretty familiar with how the process is going to work. He's excited too.

Just realized that I made a mistake in my order configuration. Wanted the 2.3 with manual, but when I clicked Mid package it automatically removed the manual and added the 10speed.

Now I have to decide if I want to switch to the 7sp, or just get the 2.7 and keep the Mid package.

Msrp was $45,700. He quoted me $45,200 which included tax, title, registration, ect. So it saved me somewhere over 3 grand.

Keeping this one somewhat basic, plan to sell it in a couple years and order what I really want when everything else becomes available.

Dean Sellers was my dealer. They converted my reservation to an order without my consent, and I am dealing with that now. Bill Brown said no A/Z/X plan, but that could be because I have a FE, Invoice only on that model. I am working on switching to Granger once this mess gets sorted at Dean Sellers.

Same experience here. Expected more given they’re building them down the street. Would be nice to avoid the destination charge and just pick it up from the factory ourselves lol
Oh babe, it don't work that way. Whether you pick your Bronco up across the street from the factory, or a dealer across the country from you the destination fee is the same. Sorry, but that's how all of the manufacturers play the game. Supposedly the fee is calculated to average out for everyone who buys a new car no matter the distance from the manufacturer. But, I'd bet a Mikey D's burger that there is also a profit margin in there also.
