Morimoto Headlights?

I could have sworn they had a kit for the Raptor. Today they show nothing. They also claim their regular Bronco kit is not compatible with Raptor. I was under the impression that other than DRL color, the Raptor and non Raptor use the same headlight. Thanks!

I believe the reason is that it's NOT been tested.

Our Morimoto rep was scheduled to come into our shop so we could install/test a set but the Bronco Raptors require a lot more work/effort to get the headlights off. We all feared we would snap the fender flare clips (as the fender flares have to come off to remove the headlights).

Since the Bronco Raptors use a different fender system then the regular broncos it's not as easy to remove without possibly breaking something.

SOOO we never tested it. WILL they work, PROBABLY to be honest. But as I said, nobody wants to risk BREAKING someones truck to test it

Alpharex lights look better imo. If I swap mine, I’ll be using the alpharex ones.

Been running them for a while. No visible warnings in the cabin. Work great. I wouldn't tell anyone to get them if they're not your style, but I would say get something. Output of the stockers is poor versus these and many other vehicles.

On our Badlands, I tend to drive around with fogs whenever I drive it at night. Not so much on the Braptor.

You can get to the plug on the left front headlight without taking the fenders off and remove the headlight. I had mine off when I took the grill, trim piece and a few other things off to install a new bumper and bigger intercooler. The right one I never could get too, so the fender on that side might have to come off. Ridiculous set up if you ask me.

Thanks. That particular model is specified as Bronco but NOT Raptor, correct?

I guess then there would be a very high probability that Morimotos other lights specified in the same way will be fine on the Raptor?

Yeah they should work. Customer wanted my original lights so I let them purchase them. No issues going from the Bronco Raptor to a Badlands either.

Got an official email from Morimoto stating their XRGB Bronco light will not work in the Raptor. Odd, can't imagine why they wouldn't state all compatability for a product.

They also state that the XBG Grill isn't supposed to work on our truck (F150) but it did

So I mean, they test vehicles then put together a "compatibility" chart. My guess is they've just not tested these on a Bronco Raptor is all.
