We've seen it on here from time to time again... I feel like we should start our own game show.

Anyways, I recently had a Ford tailgate table installed, and when I got home I noticed the below piece in my cargo area. I did not see it in there when I was last in the cargo area (just before it was installed), so I'm thinking it may be linked to the installation of this tailgate table.

Any ideas? It's about 5" long. I'm thinking it could be connected with either the table, the tailgate, or the soft top? Or it could just be garbage from the box... I'm not sure!

Any guesses are welcome, especially those who may work in the Parts department and know every inch of these accessories

It looks like something that should be telescoping because of the hole at the end....but I dont know that it actually does.

Looks like it belongs to a wind-chime.
It also looks like it could be a rod that acts as a pivot point for a hinge, but what could facilitate this 5" rod???? Very mysterious. Let us know if you start hearing awful noises when you drive....and i dont mean the wind-chime

I just put mine in. Did not come across one of those. Maybe it’s a drill bit they forgot to make into a drill bit? Seen those before.

That's a good point. I wonder if they used this as a guide to install it. I'm going to reach out to them to inquire.
