Need help identifying

Can anyone help identify what this bracket and wire “cylinder” may be? It’s installed on one of the points for installing a hitch mount. I went to install the hitch mount and saw this. Need to remove the rear bumper in order to move this.

2024's come with the trailer hitch prewired. You're looking at the connector that plugs into the OEM trailer hitch option (dealer installed if ordered with the vehicle).

You're still missing the "tow package" (controller, receiver, etc.) - but the harness is there.
