New Rear FS-15 SERIES DV8 bumper installed

For those that might be interested. Pretty solid Rear bumper. Very satisfied. Minus the light hook up & wire routing, had to splice into rear diode dynamics rear mount set up. License plate wiring was a pain. All in all solid. Love how it shows off more tire & exhaust.

I didn’t care for the license plate relocation over the spare when I upgraded my rear bumper but found this that connects to the bolts under the spare, and doesn’t stick out quite as much as with that bumper. Wiring was easy, just went through the hole near the spare and through the compartment on the tailgate. Was a bit difficult fishing it through since I have a tailgate table

Does the license plate stick out from the side? It looks like it would look awkward with the plate sticking out like that.

Interesting the side sensors face straight back instead of outwards. Notice any issues? Cross traffic still work as well?

It does a little it flush to fender...

That addresses my next question in that I was going to ask if the LP protruding interfered with the driver's side BLIS sensor. But a Base doesn't have that problem.

I don't get why nearly all aftermarket bumpers don't incorporate a license plate holder. The other solutions look as tacked on as they literally are.

Agreed wasn't to happy with the mount up & location, not to mention the wiring, but haven't ripped it off yet...
