True, but that's why they make both. What I'm really interested in is trail sight mounts for fly rods. I hate having to break them down every time we change spots.

We have a prototype we have been testing that mounts to the Trail Sights like our other spinning reel mounts. We just don't recommend driving at highway speeds with fly rods as they are very light rods at the ends.

Not sure I would trust my $1k+ of rods and reels on a nylon strap at highway speed. Think a roof rack and Yakama ReelDeal rod holders are the way to go. Have that setup on my wifes new 24 Kona
