So I haven't had trim rings on a car since the very first car I ever bought as a teenager (1977 Camaro, lol). But I'm wondering how practical they'd be for an old-school look on a new Bronco. Maybe keep them on for around-town use and pop them off when hitting the dirt. Any potential problems with this approach? I do love that chrome-on-white look. Maybe throw on a baby moon center cap.
Also, would a solid/slotless wheel be worrisome when it comes to brake cooling for modern driving?
