Let us know what you think about these new mounts. We just finished designing and these have gone to production. We will post a preorder page soon.
First, we have a 40" Crossmount for the front modular bumper. This is a LONG mount. Longer than most and will accommodate many lights. You can easily get 6 or the 6" Rigid 360's or Baja LP6's on the front. Or, you can get 8-10 3X3, maybe 4x4 pod lights on them.
(Remember, these are preproduction plastic prints)
Next, we have a new roof bar set of post mounts. This set is actually pretty versatile.
So the post set (left/right) is 2" taller in the slot than most of the mounts you've seen. Such as the Rigid mounts that hold the 40" SR light bar.
We raised them and the slots so you can still use that 40" light bar, however... due to the complaints about noise, this will greatly reduce that. You see the issue with noise for the most part you hear about is due to the fact the bar is so close to the windshield that air is forced up the windshield and under the light bar (which is flat) through a tiny crevice of space. Forcing so much air through a tiny space makes a LOT of noise. By adding a little space for the air to more naturally flow around, this greatly reduces the noise.
So the posts can still hold those 40" light bars.
In addition, we designed a cross mount, as shown in the photos. The cross mount can be used in place of the light bar and hold 8-10 pod lights.
You can use 3x3 such as Rigid D-Series, Radiance, Scene, Squadron, Diode. Or, Rigid Round 360 4" lights as shown being held in one photo.
This will go great with our roofline light bar HIDDEN harness kit. No running wires up the windshield or drilling holes in the roofline to feed the pass through wire in. (Video posted below)
We also have an 8 connector daisy chain harness that can plug in to power all the lights and backlights with that roofline harness.
Last we have our pair of Modular Bumper Post mounts. These also serve a dual purpose of either holding a 30" light bar from Rigid like the Radiance, SR Series or E-Series Pro, or Baja designs S8 or ONX6.
Or, you can choose to simply mount a pair of lights... even the 6" Rigid 360's or Baja LP6's or and XL series.
Here is a link to the video on the hidden roofline harness-
So let us know what you think... We are always interested in feedback and questions. Watch for a post on our vendor section for preorders soon.
