Power Door locks completely stoped working

Has anyone had their power locks completely stop working, wouldn't work with fob or switches. Seemed like a fuse but there is no fuse for the door locks. I'm pretty good with Google and couldn't find any information on it so I figured I would post here to hopefully help someone else in the future.

I pulled the ground from the battery for about a hour, when I hooked it back up it was fixed. Good Ole I.T. go to did you turn it off and back on to see it the problem goes away.

Well looks like this was not just a simple fix. Went to pick it up from the dealership for the shock recall, and the locks wouldn't work again. I talked with the tech and he said he would look into it on the ford side of things.

An update to the issue. This was completely self induced. I made a change in forscan that made the tailgate not lock and the locks to stop working when double clicking the remote lock button.

Sometimes the lock module loses power from a blown relay or a bad ground in the driver door harness, so I’d pop the boot and look for a broken wire before chasing anything deeper. I got stuck once with dead locks and a tech from a Car key replacement service helped me confirm the module had failed, so it’s worth ruling out the simple wiring fault first.
