I have been running MT 35's since last fall with 17" Fuel Trophy wheels with the Toyota 106mm hub size. They've run fine, but were extremely harsh once I got up to ~70. I thought it was just MT's.
I finally broke down and bought a set of 106-93 hub rings from Stage 3 motorsports for $18.99. I installed them today and WOW! At 70-75 it's smooth as silk. I didn't realize the difference four little plastic rings would make.
So if you are experiencing harshness with your wheels/tires, this is the first thing I would do.
