What do you think about a possibility to have the rear camera on a longer wire, which I can pull out and fix the camera to see the hitch and trailer coupler? I plan to use an overland trailer alone and will need to hook it up alone. This would be a pain without visual control.
Or, what about having a second camera spliced in the Bronco camera, flip a switch and feed the second camera signal ?

The cheapest and easiest option by far will be a WiFi backup camera you can view from your phone. Tons of them out there, most for less than $100.
