Rear camera - parking/backup camera blurry

Has anyone noticed that the rear camera is either blurry or low resolution? I have other cars and it has been pretty sharp - is the Bronco one intentionally low res or is mine broken ? I was thinking there was a piece of packing film on it - but I wiped it clean and it is still blurry.

On the demo I used for 2 days it was def not great resolution. My M4 and Blazer RS are much crisper. Nothing that would drive me crazy but the resolution was not as good.

One of our F-150 work trucks had a camera that got condensation inside the lense. At first it was blurry and then later it stopped working. That's the only one I have seen with an issue out of the dozens of Fords that I have driven with backup cameras.

LOL, just kidding. but for the OP, make sure you don't have any condensation or dirt built up over the lens. every once in a while i'll wipe the lens with my finger.

The camera on the mid package is trash compared to my 2018 F-150 XLT (Same screen size). I suspect it's actually due to a low screen resolution, but not sure. Ford definitely did us dirty on that one.

Thanks ! So would you say that is HD ? I see the edges are blurry - would you say it is blurry or perfectly clear? It is annoying because everything we look at now is HD - like our phone screen,e tc.

I would rate it about 720p. Maybe a Chinese import 1080p.. not 4K for sure.

Mine is the same. First day I had the bronco it was raining and this thing is useless in the rain since water just drips off it. Noticed it gets dirty real quick and when I finally cleaned it off after a few days it looks blurry and shitty too.

Maybe mine got some condensation. The example images above definitely look loads better.

It's not Bronco specific... more of Ford in general. Compare it to the backup camera in a Ram and it's night and day. The backup camera on 8in screen is atrocious. 12 is a bit better at least.

lux includes the 360 cameras, i'm not sure if mid and high do too?
