I took delivery on my 2024 Tacoma Limited about two months ago and am enjoying it. I’ve been looking for a rollup hard tonneau cover to install but I’m not finding any available yet for the new Tacomas. Has anyone found an aftermarket source for any tonneau covers? Any news on when some might be available?

Check this guy out. I think he mentioned a couple different ones but I never done any digging into it myself. May help, may not.

Realtruck expects to have their Truxedo Sentry line ready for 2024 in April or May.
They just rolled out a few soft and hard covers this week for some of their other brands so hopefully the good stuff (Truxedo and BAK) soon.

I ordered the BAK revolver and it’s supposed to ship at the end of the month.

The Sentry CT is already shipping. Got mine last week and it looks great. Pics in the other Tonneau cover thread.

I saw your post. It looks really good. The only reason I went with the bak was the ability to close the tailgate with the cover down.

I'll be curious to see how well that works with the power tailgate once someone gets one installed.

Anyone know the pros and cons of hard rollup vs trifold?

Im guessing advantages are:
Trifold
- can have it 2/3 open and see out the back
- less moving parts

Rollup
- easier for wife to open
- can see out back when fully open

Also in most cases, rollup is easier to completely remove. There are probably some models of trifold that remove easily but they'd still be more awkward to handle.

But the main thing is definitely visibility which is mostly irrelevant if you have digital mirror as long as you don't get one that blocks the camera on the back of the cab.

Depending on model, trifold may lock more securely.

New to trucks here, trying to figure out which cover to get that can give me the option of adding a cross-bar over it in the future.

Seems like the most common option is one with a T-Slot, so far I only found Retrax and Synetic with this option... but not sure if the T-Slot attachment are all standard sizes?

The other option is getting something that's compatible with BillieBars, but also not sure how to pick covers that are compatible with these.
