Secondhand OEM parts

If I purchase a secondhand OEM hardtop from someone else, does the warranty for that hardtop transfer to me? It wouldn’t be tied to the vin so I’m curious and it could be a huge consideration with how much issues they are known to have

No. The factory warranty only applies to the build configuration from the factory. Buying takeoffs of any OEM part does not include any warranty.
