Selected for Production - now what?

Just came home to an extremely unexpected voicemail from the dealership sales manager saying my build was selected for production week of 8/22 with an estimated delivery date of 9/2. I have not received any emails from Ford confirming this status update, though.

I'm sure there are already a million threads on this topic, but what should I be looking for now? Should I get a VIN number? Do I need to call somebody to get that info? How likely are my production/delivery dates to be accurate? Any guidance on next steps would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

- Ordered on December 20th, 2021
- Big Bend
- Non Sasquatch
- 4 door
- Manual, 2.3L engine
- Carb. Grey paint w/ Sandstone interior
- Standard tech package (equipment group 221A)
- MIC Hardtop
- Tow package
- Locking Diff
- Slide-out tailgate
- Rubber floor mats
- Aux switches
- Keyless entry pad
- Spare tire cover

Have you looked at your Backdoor tracker? Assume you have a Ford Account and a reservation/order number
- Log onto your Ford Account
- Use this web link https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=xxxxxxxx Where the x's are your reservation/order number.
In the Backdoor tracker you will see your Bronco with the scheduled date.

You can get the VIN from the backdoor tracker if you decode the HTML screen. Here are the instructions if you are using Chrome. There are other similar techniques for Firefox or IoS.

Step 1. Go to the Backdoor Tracker
Step 2. Open the Browser Console . Click and hold Ctrl + Shift + J
- Browser console will open on the right side of the screen
Step 3. Select "Network" on the top of the screen.
Step 4. Refresh your order page.
Step 5. Find your Order Number in the "Name" section. It is toward the bottom of the scroll. It will look like this: 10xxxxxxx?lang=en_us&inclu (also highlighted below) Click on that line.
Step 6. In the fields on the right open up the sections by clicking on the arrows pointing to the right. You can see the VIN Number in this section. I think it is in there twice
