First service engine soon light we’ve had on our Bronco.
The app says “the engine control system detected… downstream Bank 1 exhaust emissions control sensor is reporting a biased or stuck rich condition.
Has anyone had this issue?
Is it an easy sensor to replace?
I’m under warranty but if it’s a simple fix, I’d rather do it myself and avoid the hassle of a service appointment.

Likely just needs the downstream o2 sensor.
Pretty easy to replace. Bank 1 is passenger side.

I replaced the sensor this past weekend. Fairly easy repair: the sensor threads weren't ceased in there, so that was nice. I found doing the repair from above was easier than trying to do it from under. I had to stand on the bumper and lean into the engine bay, but that was the best way to loosen the threads and release the electrical connector. Torque spec on the sensor is 35 lb/ft.

The most difficult part was figuring out the 2-piece clip that holds the sensor wire in place. I had to get under a neighbor's Bronco to see how the clip is situated, and I still couldn't get it right lol

P/N MB3Z-9G444-D from OEM Ford Parts Direct. That p/n does NOT match the number stamped on the faulty part I took out (MB3G-9G444-CB). When I searched the original p/n, no matches were found on any Ford site I checked. The new part worked and the light went off 1 day & a few rides after install.
