Update: Ford dealer service says the ACM has trouble codes indicating there was some sort of issue with 2 of the channels that was likely caused by my install and replacing ACM will not be covered by warranty. I was super careful with the install and double checked all my pos and neg connections and made sure everything was in place, secure and solid prior to powering the system up. I don't believe my install caused it especially because the audio sounded fine for 20 to 30 min of running the radio prior to the static starting. This is the same behavior every time the audio is powered up.

Update: ACM not the issue!!! I took Bronco to the audio shop I usually use and they found my problem...I used poor quality 16 gauge wire from ACM to amp

I went all out on everything else, but used Polk audio speaker wire that came with a set of speakers from a previous install. The tech replaced the wire and the sound and static is gone! I can't believe it, but there you go. All others speakers are fine even when the poor quality wire. The only channel that had the issue was LR. And yes I had replaced the wire when it first happened thinking it was a broken solder or broken wire but used the same poor quality wire.

Not sure why Ford service was detecting the ACM was bad, but I guess maybe the speaker wire was causing some some issue.

Has the issue returned?

Yes it returned. I had the ACM replaced. That finally fixed it.
Thanks. I've been having the same issue for quite some time. It's fine for a while then comes back. How much was the ACM replacement?

I was not really happy with the dealer service shop where I had bought the Bronco for a multiple reasons like not returning calls and making a mess with simple oil change. I started taking it to a different dealer and that shop handled the situation differently. They replaced the ACM under warranty, so not sure how much it would have cost. The first dealer never gave me a cost or timeframe so that’s when I changed service shop.
