I know the license plate sits differently on the standard bumper than the modular but does it attach differently also? Meaning does it drill into the body or the bumper?

It drills into To the lower painted valance directly underneath the grill. Tell your dealer not to attach, if possible. I have 4 holes because the dealer didn’t know how to center my plate holder

That happened to mine as well. Im looking at getting a different valance panel but I don't know how much work that would be.
