Sync 4 Question regarding screen Android auto

Using Android Auto, sync 4 8 inch screen. I am trying to have the screen when turned on start in the first photo as pictured. The second photo is the screen that it continues to go to each time I turn on the system. The left side is waze and right side media from phone. I use Sirius on the radio and not on my phone.

When I upgraded my phone from S22 to S23 Android Auto in the Bronco seemed to work better with less glitches. I am by no means an expert as this is an observation more than anything else. My OB has the 12" screen.

Android Auto settings on your android, you can have it not start at startup. You can't have XM/android auto showing on the android auto screen at the same time with the 8".

I'll try the start settings I saw this thought there might be something better. I understand on the xm. I wish I could toggle back and forth from Android auto to xm. I need to go through the ford app to get to xm after running waze from my phone. Something just doesn't seem right. Maybe I can make a video to show what I mean.
