Top Tailgate Hinge Alignment Issue

I noticed this passenger-side body panel is not properly aligned next to the top hinge of the tailgate. If I press on it or toggle with it, it feels like it somehow popped out of position… Not sure why or how this occurred and there are no signs of foul play.

So far, it’s only caused some minor scratching on the inside edge of the panel.

Is there a relatively simple fix for this or do I just take it to Ford?

I just noticed today that mine has this same issue. Did you have any luck getting yours fixed? Gonna call my dealer tomorrow about it

Yep, I have the same issue but not as bad.

Did that happen when you install the tailgate reinforcement kit?
