It’s slightly confusing if you don’t know. TP can stand for Torx Plus or Tamper Proof. Stay away from anything that says Tamper Proof. What you need for Bronco is Torx Plus and they are less common.

Tamper Proof can also be called Torx Security

This is the kit I bought and have used 5 different sizes on Bronco mods.

@Razorbak86 Do you have the links for the Torx and Torx Plus bits that you added to your chest?
This is the Torx Plus set that I ordered, and I’m very happy with it…

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005OH0MES

Unfortunately, it’s not currently available on the original Amazon link.

FWIW, the TP40 bit fits perfectly in the Bronco bolts on the Heavy Duty Modular Front Bumper with no slop. (y)

PS - The regular Torx set I ordered is also made by CTA Tools, right here in the good ole USA.

The bolts they use are pure garbage. You have to make sure the tool is perfectly square and the driver still cams out of the fastener if you're not super careful. I think I'm going to start replacing them all with regular hex head bolts!

What lights are those?
Agreed! It was the last one of the six bolts and just went a little too fast at it without the bit seated perfect, apparently.

the lights are Diode Dynamics SAE SS3 fogs -pro and the SS2 floods and driving. The kit is the KR from 4’x4’ Truck LED’s who I purchased the whole package from. Smooth transaction.
I’ll post up once they’re working 🤣.

I ordered the 6pt. Torx plus and still stripped out a head last night using #40. The bolts where these fog kits attach to on the modular bumper are soft and very easily stripped.

They are back in stock. Added to cart. I'll always try to buy USA made tools if I can.
