The wait is finally over....took delivery of a WildTrak this afternoon.

A few initial observations worth sharing:

- first and foremost, the Sasquash look with the 35's is spectacular in person. If I had known it would look this good I wouldn't have gone back-and-forth so long about whether I wanted the 35's. If you are on the fence, stop debating and go Sasquash. It's worth the wait. I honestly would give up any other option on the car for Sasquash.

- In my humble opinion, the 2.7 is MUCH better than the 2.3. I drove the 2.3 twice before taking a risk on the 2.7 (it wasn't available to drive). I personally feel a huge difference; especially in Sport mode.

- The larger screen is worth the money. I would have been disappointed with the smaller screen now that I've experienced the larger one.

- The WildTrak cloth isn't as bad as others claim. I'll go so far as saying that I actually like it. Now, I'm not saying that I wouldn't rather have the Badlands vinyl, but I was debating for awhile whether to get a WildTrak because of the interior. But, in person, I like the look and feel.

- The 6-speaker stereo system blows. Like, really blows...

Bottom line, I love it. And can't wait for some adventures!

Congratulations!

Let me say this as a Black Diamond owner with MGV........

I have a Wildtrak scheduled for production in two weeks (It's what I really wanted originally)

I'm glad i'm getting cloth. I like running around with the top down and the MGV just gets too damn hot.

Coming from the leather seats in my Mustang I wasn't sure how these would feel but I was impressed. They feel like they can take a beating I never have to worry about the Texas sun beating down on them. They seem pretty durable, as well. There's already been a coffee spill that I was pleased cleaned right out. Congrats on your rig!

I have considered switching my badlands order to Wildtrak for multiple reasons. I was concerned with cloth regarding kids and spills, but I am not a huge leather guy (mostly due to the extra cost).

Did you get seat covers to help with heat?

Can't wait to see your Wildtrak!
