Tomorrow I’m hooking up two pod lights in the pillar. I have the aux lights.

So my plan is to cut off the switch the harness came with. Then connect the red wire to the appropriate aux wire and the black wire to a ground.

The harness has a relay and also a fuse on the red wire. Shoulder I keep these or cut off?

Lights are 100w a pair so I was going to use one of the 10am switches.

You're on the right track...you won't need the harness relay or fuse. 10amp switch should be good.
