Great question! So Diode essentially redesigned the bars in their entirety. From a brand new inner circuit system, more focussed optics (including a huge improvement on their combo lens), and more configurability, control, and of course more power; DD truly made a brand new bar basically.
In terms of how much brighter, it depends on which bar you’re comparing to. Since they now have different power levels the “power” can vary. What we can say is that the new bars are much more focussed on their bars where the output is much better performing then the previous bars.

Below are some of the main changes

Some of the newer features are
-new combo lens design (recently released with the new c2.0 pods)
- new smart select back light option (rgbw backlight capability)
-now available with multiple power levels (sport, pro, and even max on select sizes)
-new LEDs chipsets for increased output
-new dual function main beam bars (select sizes)
