We're kinda known for our rear bumpers in the Jeep world. There's really 2 ways to build a bumper with a tire carrier - the imported cheap child labor way, then our way. We build a bumper and tire carrier with a farmer mentality. Strong, durable, and functional.

Each RH4x4 Bronco Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier mounts to the frame of your rig and has no mechanical linkage to your sheet metal, tailgate door, or hinges. This takes ALL the load off your body to prevent warping and shearing from body roll damage. Our latch mechanism is a 2-stage latch from a fire truck door. This means effortless opening and secure 2-stage latching. One finger opens our gate, but no amount of bumping or jarring could. Our tire carrier assembly is much like a full float axle: beefy. We machine a 1-3/8" steel shaft that our tire post rides on with the weight set on 2 solid spacers with twin bearings, twin races, and twin seals. Steel shims set your adjustable height on the entire assembly. This way as your rig grows and you add our accessories or larger tires, you can compensate for that by adding more shims under our swing arm. Our system grows as your Bronco does.

Bumper is formed from 1/4" thick steel.

Every RH4x4 Bronco Bumper and Tire Carrier is 100% bolt on, includes all hardware, and is powdercoated in house. Every swing arm includes a CB antenna mount. Optional Hi-Lift Jack Mount is available. Also available are our tank mounts and cargo basket. We'll have photos shortly of them installed.

Our Tire Carrier takes your factory carrier from your tailgate - but adds the ability to move the whole assembly up or down to help you see out of your OEM mirror. As it is, with factory tires, your spare can sit at the same height as it does currently for an unobstructed view.

Fits up to a 37" spare tire.

Included in your hardware is a plug and play Rear Back Up Camera extension cable, accepts your parking sensors (if equipped), but if you don't have sensors we include delete plugs you snap into our precut holes. Our bumper wraps around your factory hitch and clears your electrical ports. Our bumper has provisions for your factory license plate light. Pretty sure we thought of it all.

  • 100% Bolt-On
  • Powdercoat Included
  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Camera Compatible
  • Parking Sensor Compatible
  • License Plate Light Compatible
  • OEM Receiver Compatible
  • 1" Thick Recovery Tabs Included

Thanks for introducing this. It's going on my list!
Hopefully Ford will decide to actually build my Bronco.

Ford should really offer something like this. Or better yet source company Ike this to make one OEM. That way they could offer us a tailgait that swings out or flips down. Best of both worlds. If they can put multi-function tailgaits on pick-ups shouldn't be a big deal for the Bronco.

Like the design, apart from the need to cut your brand name into it - that's space I'd rather use for lighting. Any way to remove that?

The bumper is made of metal.

So any methodology you like for cutting metal will work for this task. From grinding to drilling, to melting. All will work just fine to customize a solid metal bumper to your needs, including tacking on fog light brackets.

If I had the welding skills to fill in the unnecessary logo I'd just build my own bumper.
Alas.

Ah, but a simple square hole filled with lights requires almost no welding skill.

To be fair, I did answer the question you actually asked.

Not the question that would have taken dozens of unknown personal skills/preferences/assumptions into consideration. Communicating in text is often like that. But your question was answered, you're welcome.

K.

In any case, they offer umpteen different options to add features and attachment points at the time of bumper production. Given that level of customization available, asking if there's a way to skip a (completely unnecessary) step in the process to continue tailoring something to user preference isn't really that out of line, but seems to have splashed in your cheerios.

Best looking one yet ,all those reinforced brackets are a band aid this is the way to do it,as long as the rear rail can be reinforced to accept the load as well(maybe like the raptor gussets)

I assume the cutting process is a computer controlled CNC machine, so customization maybe harder than just "skipping a step", so it would be up to the manufacturer if it's worth it for them to remove their branding and just throw in a sticker in the hopes that you'll stick it on somewhere visible.
