These have been out for awhile and I haven’t seen anyone here on B6G install/review/anything on them. My .02 is no matter what the cost, this is dumb.

I am going to guess that they are made of acrylic.... Most acrylics can scratch pretty easily. My only thought on the product.

I kinda like it actually, it certainly has drawbacks, but being able to have the open look and not worry about the weather (or theft) isn't all bad either

I don't think I $1,800 like it though. A $30 front bimini cover gets me 85% there.

They should've shown a shot from the inside to see how the view looks.

But yeah like the others have said, hard to drop $1800 on it especially when there aren't many (if any) reviews out for it yet

Their site says it’s polycarbonate, which means it should be pretty resilient. Will probably get the odd scratch eventually, but should be better than acrylic.

It’s a cool idea, although I wouldn’t even consider it at this price. I’m also not a huge fan of the visual contrast against the rear MIC roof.

[Edit: just noticed that the Putco panel’s cams seem to use bolts that go right through to the exterior, with little depressions where water will collect on top… I realize that’s probably because the OEM MIC top has multiple layers and the Putco is a single piece of polycarbonate, but I feel like there must have been a cleaner way to do this…

I’d prefer a single full-width MIC panel (in place of the factory split up front) with a big operable moonroof in the middle. Now THAT would be worth some money, and for those of us who don’t actually want to drive around sans roof, could be a lot easier to live with if you still want the air/views. Bet you could even power it and control from the aux switches. Anyone know if such an thing exists?

Seems pretty cool. A little expensive but I bet the price of the OEM panels that it's replacing is just as expensive?

$1800 isn't terrible. I have a 4 door and had to order just one panel above the driver's seat, and its $2300 from Ford, so for those that have an issue with the either front panels, this is a viable cheaper alternative. It would be $4600 to replace both front OEM panels.
