Advice on fitting 50" tires.

Stumbled across this off road rig on 50" tires and think I want to try and fit a similar set on the Bronco.

What will I need to modify? UCA's and crash bar relocation? What else?

First you need to swap some big axles like the ones under my F800. It handles 48” just fine. Better yet just mount that two door on top of a F800

I hear those are boulder throwers, you may want some industrial mud flaps!

Spare tire relocation bracket and third brake light extension.

You might need some spacers/lug pattern adapters depending on what lug pattern those 25's come with.

You might need to regear the diffs, unless you have an automatic, those multiply the torque and that fixes almost everything.

I'm not certain you'll be able to recalibrate the speedo, even with Forskin.

Best thing to do in this scenario is to do the upgrade but leave the stock tie rods so that you've got something to warranty

What’s the offset on those wheels? It’s hard to give you any help without some information first.

You might see a slight reduction in gas milage. You may want to think through an after market extended gas tank.

I just removed the crash bars, no rub with mine, and 3.73 gears are fine, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'll post photos once my billet classic bronco emblems and fiberglass mod hard-top arrives.

Since you've only got 4 cup holders, you may want to start there. No way you'll ever run 50's with only 4 cup holders
