Just had the mobile service done for the windshield wiper recall. Nice and easy, dealer came out on a Saturday morning and was done in about 30min.

Will they do oil changes at the home versus pickup?

When scheduling my last Fast Lane service, they practically begged me to try the mobile service for the same price. The guys were nice enough, but having someone work on my car in the street (they won't do it on your driveway) felt weird. On top of that, I had to wait around during my "window" and then they called to say they were running late. Not for me. I will drive it to the dealership next time.

I got an e-mail about this recently and was wondering, do these services cost more than dropping off the vehicle myself?

I dropped my Bronco off for a service back in November and they drove it back to me so I could just stay home. Didn't cost any extra.

I just had a mobile service done on my Bronco this week. They came right to my office rolled me onto a tarp and did the whole dang thing in the parking lot. Also dealt with some recalls.

For what it is worth the service may or may not be subsidized by Ford. I highly doubt this service will remain complimentary indefinitely. Probably just another Uber model, gain dependence then jack the rates.

A mobile tech I would go for. Having anyone and too often the lot kid driving my Bronco back and fourth....no thanks! What if they get in an accident? You will not be fully reimbursed for losses.
