Based on the successful hype around Bronco, I highly doubt they cut anything essential to it's upcoming success. If they did... well, thats not very financially "fit".

Automakers are really struggling right now as are A LOT of industries. This is why Ford needs to step their game up and get this Bronco to the Rodeo so we can all ride it. The cash flow from the Bronco and Mach E will help them. Not counting F series or mustang since that has always been cash flow. If they drop the ball on this Bronco it will make a lot of people not go back to Ford.

The wildly popular Ford F-150 pickup truck with its family of Super Duty siblings is second only to the iPhone when it comes to branded consumer product sales, according to a new economic analysis from the Boston Consulting Group.

While the iPhone generated $55 billion in revenue to $42 billion for the F-Series in 2019, the F-Series generated more revenue than the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and National Hockey League combined — which was just $40 billion, the analysis showed.

No pressure on the new F150

sucks, but companies have done this in the past as to look out for the future of the company and considering covid affected pretty much everything I'm surprised it's not more than 1k jobs. Hopefully those that are let go are able to find work quickly, maybe at another car company.
