I take back what I said, a little, I think the bronze phone dials with the bronze letters and emblem could look pretty damn good on my Shadow black. I want to like the 1785 since I love snowflake wheels, but they're too busy/overdone.

Also, here is the black version of the phone dials: https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1007K-P1780MBM

Is the ring polished aluminum? Chrome? White powder coat? It's hard to get a sense from the pictures.

Could it be cause it reminds us a little of the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am wheels?

I think these are stunning...plus at 17" a lot more tire choice than the 18" OB stock rims. Matches my bronze dash!

I wonder what happened with the all black version from SEMA...but once I see these with some rubber on them, I might like the machined face black version more.

Solid choice for using up some Ford Pass Points...my steelies are gonna run their course after another year or so. I can't ever imagine spending $2000+ on off-road wheels. So, this is attractive to me. Plus, it would be a direct swap from my current setup. 1/2" wider rim shouldn't make much difference.

Some other offset options would make these more attractive IMO.
At least 30 offset is better than 55 for those of us who want a little more poke without adding the stress that a 0 offset would add.

This. To get factory offset with basically an aftermarket wheel is great. I checked Tirerack specs, and the 1/2" wider rim is still in the Grabber tire rim range. I'm curious about the weight difference to the black steelies. And to get 5 rims w/TPMS sensors, is good value.
