looks like someone trying to collect insurance money. Look how low that water is... smh
Agreed, seems like they could put it in 4wd and back out of the water.

Wouldn’t it be incredible if there was a way to catch and store more of the historic water this year in California instead of 80% of it flowing to the Pacific Ocean🤷‍♂️

It’s a Dam shame😆.
Hopefully a significant amount is captured in the Colorado River basin to replenish Lake Powell and Lake Mead.

You guys must never have been caught in a flash flood. That water very well could have been over the hood just a few seconds earlier...plenty of time to hydrolock the motor. Flash flood water rises and falls almost as quickly as you can read this post. Soldier on, though. Sounds like y'all have it all figured out.

Around here, there is what is called the "Stupid Motorist Law" that if there are barricades up or a sign that says "Do Not Enter When Flooded" and the motorist enters the flood waters anyway and then requires rescue, he can be charged for the cost of the rescue.

Rushing flood waters are very different from crossing a stream or shallow river. The fast-moving water is dangerously stong and can easily shove a vehicle sideways off the road and into a deep spot stranding the driver.

Could have been someone driving home and got caught up in a flash flood unintentionally, doesn’t mean they thought they could get through this water because they were in a Bronco.
