Bronco Trademark Filed by Ford

Ford just filed a trademark for the “Bronco” name with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, giving us the strongest indication to date that Ford may have future plans to revive the Bronco nameplate.

The trademark was filed on February 26, 2015 and covers the Bronco character mark for “automobiles; trucks; vehicle parts for automobiles…”

A new Ford Bronco would represent the 6th generation of the iconic truck, as the last generation ended production back in 1996 and has remained out of production despite a Bronco Concept being introduced at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show.
