To those bitching about waiting since day 1 and seeing others make recent orders and getting scheduled:
There is NOTHING stopping you from making another order with another dealership. That's what I did. I found a large dealer willing to do MSRP for no deposit.

This is honestly not a bad idea. If the dealer knows what they have on order etc they can kinda figure out what builds will be scheduled quickly. Soft tops still get built faster than hardtops from my experience. We had 6 2.7L and 2 2.3L pulled. Only 1 hard top which was a 2door manual trans.

Ok I called the dealer an hour ago, nothing to show or tell......Then, he calls back moments ago, (11:00 am in LA) says i'm scheduled for the "tenth" week of the year. I ask what week is that he says, no idea...

Week of Feb 28th.

Unless Ford doesn't follow the standard week numbers... which... ya know... wouldn't surprise me at this point.

Dealer called this morning and said I was scheduled for 3/7. Backdoor link shows nothing yet.

Used the link and it shows scheduled for production for 2/28 but no official email from Ford and I didn't see anyplace a VIN was noted. I know how many times some people have been pushed back so I'm not getting my hopes up considering no real confirmation or VIN. With that said, I at least have a little hope after 500+ days...I guess that's something!

Yes.....I am getting the same. At least the back-door system screen shows my order correctly now when it had errors on it previously.

Newport? Same... looks like we have the same build specs too yet im left for dead here. Dealer cant even provide me with anything....
