conic silver doesn’t seem be the most popular color but over time it’s going to shine. Love the colors Ford crafts but I think they are a bit of a fad that wears out some IMO. I’m probably kinda biased

Iconic silver Outer Banks picked up this afternoon. Wanna ditch the side stickers and go with the Bronco Depot script. What finish is the Bronco logo on the back end? I can’t tell if it’s matte or chrome
It’s more like a nickel than chrome. I got a black one and made it matte.Sounds like you have the same build as me. Mine is supposed to be delivered this week. It has a chrome bronco emblem on the back. I’m replacing mine with the black emblem that comes on the wildtrak. I ordered one from Fairwayfordparts.net back in October and it finally shipped today.
so which finish script did you buy? Bronco Depot’s website down at the moment. It’s more like a nickel than chrome. I got a black one and made it matte.
I’m getting rid of my depot script - just hoping they can be savaged so someone else can use them.

Looks great! My IS Wildtrak is scheduled to be built in a couple of weeks. I'm not usually a huge fan of silver cars, but IS is a beautiful, warm silver and it looks so good paired with the Wildtrak's black grill and wheels.
Trust the silver works well (enough) with the sandstone interior?
looks good and probably matches the rest better. how did you make it matte? It’s more like a nickel than chrome. I got a black one and made it matte.

Fine grit sandpaper + plastic adhesion promoter + matte clear coat. It actually has a slight metallic finish due to the adhesion promotor. It was unintentional - but, I like it. I have a Ford emblem I am planning to do IS + the same matte black finish for the rings and font. Right now I have a gloss black/matte black from Emblem City - but, it's feeling a bit dated to me (early 2000s).looks good and probably matches the rest better. how did you make it matte?
I really like the idea of tying the emblem in too. i have the stickers which will hopefully provide a similar look to your photo for a start. still need a bronco so i guess i have some additional time to figure it out.Fine grit sandpaper + plastic adhesion promoter + matte clear coat. I like it! Everyone is lighting up their letters and making them more noticeable. I also swapped my BD grill for base because I like the stealth look.Project complete...finally blacked out the grille/letters on my badlands bronco and it looks NASTY
