How is the spring perch collar? Having mine installed next week.
How much are you paying for the installation?

$1200 total for the spring perch install, alignment, mount and balance 5 tires.

Seemed a little high but I liked the shop and the people there. Don't mind spending a little more for good service.

Thanks, I got a similar quote so was wondering what people were paying.

I love my 2022 Big Bend, Cactus Gray... I really do. But does anyone else think that it does NOT match the computer generated color that comes from the "build your Bronco" generator on the Ford website? I was quite disappointed because I expected it to be more of a military khaki color and less green. Or am I crazy?

you’re not crazy- the “in real life” color is definitely a bit different and will change depending on the surroundings. To be fair - the build page color was never that accurate to me but I do prefer what I see in real life versus the renderings. To each their own.. 🤷‍♂️

Case is Roam Adventure box 83L.

Shovel is Fiskars Pro 44in shovel.

Mount is Kolpin Black Rhino Grip Flex 1.5 + stainless black hose clamps.
So you didn't need any additional cross rails?

I'll be mounting a Yakima Megawarrior basket on my 2 door Badlands CG. Was wondering if I could just use the existing cross rails?

Do you think I would need to add an additional OEM Ford cross rail for added support? I may add add the extension to the basket, hence the additional cross rail question.

Thanks for sharing. Killer rig!

Yeah, I'm with you. I have yet to see an accurate representation of it online. One of those colors you need to see and decide on in person.

Finally was able to see this in person today. I don't pick up any green at all it looks pretty great to me. I tried to take a picture and mess with the settings that closely resembled how I see it color wise. At first my camera made it look blueish.

I saw a cactus gray 1st Edition and I mainly saw gray, with my camera it showed more blue. Then I warmed the image up a little to where it was the color that I saw.

Way more gray in real life. Phone cameras really want to bring out the Robin's egg color.

Not sure about the dimensions of the Yakima product you mentioned so I won't venture to guess if it would fit with the standard OEM 2 rail system which comes w 2 crossrails. If needed, you can pick up a 3rd crossrail from ford accessories for $200.

My box, traction boards, axe, and shovel all fit on the OEM rails (did not need to purchase a 3rd rail) with space to remove the roof panels and get full unimpeded sun.
