TSB 22-2070 was released on 2/28/22 to address the annoying "Squeak and/or Rattle from Roof" on both hard and soft top Broncos. In my experience, this concern seems to be worse in colder temperatures.

The fix is to pinpoint the source of the noise and then apply Krytox grease to the offending latch hook, locator pin, and/or roof seals as needed.

the Ford part number for a tube of Krytox is 164-R4906. It has also been included in the Ford service "Squeak & Rattle" kit for at least 20 years if not longer.

Mine's not coming from the front, it's coming from the back, and to be completely honest might be from the raised lid cargo enclosure, but in the TSB....
TSB 22-2070 Details (dot.report)
it references the locator pins and also the "Header Seal" step 5. Anyone know where the Header seal is?

Since this is pretty technical please bear with me.
When you have a squeaky part Ford Engineers have determined that you can put some grease on the squeaky part?

Do I understand it correctly?

Mine seems to happen when it’s warmer out. Definitely going to have them lube it up when I bring it in for its first oil change 🤣🤣🤣

You only need two tools in your toolbox

If it moves when it should not, duct tape
If it doesn't move when it should WD40

Wd40 also eliminates squeaks

But applying grease underneath one of the center latches of softtop that is not as tight as the other only eliminates the rubbing noise, not the noise of the wind entering through the gap
