There should be a lot of cool stuff to see and do at the event I'd think. If we all avoid the main event, this trip could have been done on any random date.
Sleepover at Tricky Dicks house! 😝🤣

I’m hoping this will be a yearly thing. I get another week of vacation in June which frees me up to attend if it happens next year.

You know with a couple more post like these we could make the whole week a B6G trip  (That might be nice)

Appreciate the offerings guys. (y)
I’d love to head out with someone that knows the trails. It’s my first time. Not really interested in joint a 25-30 rig trail. No fun. But wanted to be in town for the event.

Does anyone know if registration fills up and how many they allow? I know the old FJ Summit would fill up in minutes so was just wondering. I don't like big groups would much prefer to wheel with some small 6G groups.
I’m with you. And with a guide who knows the trails. This will be my first time. Excited!

Well, I'm in. Now I'll look for an RV space to reserve. I'll look to arrive on Monday and leave the next Wed, the 10th. I'm hooking up with some friends Sun-Tues, but anyone is welcome to run with us. We can see the event schedule when it comes out and decide what we want to run. Might be fun to run at least one event run and meet some 6g folks who aren't on this forum. Should be no problem to plan our own trails around their schedule. I would say that must run trails are Hells Revenge, Poison Spider Mesa, and Moab Rim, with Cliffhanger a great possibility. Plenty of other options for light wheeling and fabulous scenery.

Sweet! :) :)
I’d love to go with someone who knows the trails from this group. It’s my first…..of many trips! Excited!

Who interested to arrived few days early before the event start and have fun ,,,, depend of the group skill we can start with easy trail like "Dome plateau" fyi this is the trail use by Bronco off-roadeo ,,, when people feel more comfortable move to Fin&Things still easy trail and move on to Hells Revenge etc.... and maybe one day do something more gnarly like "ROSE GARDEN"

I have a lot of video of the Bronco Safari 2022 on my YouTube channel moab6g

Just let me know who is interested to be there couple days before the Bronco Safari 2023 and also who is in terested to do Sand Hollow after the Safari or maybe do the Rubicon if the snow is melt n'off the second week of May,,,,

Last February I booked a guide trail run of Hells Revenge with Dan Mick’s guide service. It was about 6 hours long and he(Richard Mick) was great! Was just him in his Jeep and me following. He gave lots of information on the trails and history of MOAB in general. Ran about $300 if I remember, it was worth it. We were the only ones on the trail.

I have been there and know some of the trails but was in a FJ on 33's. I have actually been a trail leader on some of the easier trails like Fins & Things. I plan to do a little more difficult trails in that I have a SAS Bronco but a good mix of tough and easy trails is the way to go. I hope to do several days with this B6G group and several day with the Bronco Safari.

The reservation system for Arches NP was in effect in April of this year.

The road to Tower Arch, that starts by Balanced Rock and comes out on Salt Valley Rd is a good test for the Bronco 4-wheel-drive. They recommend going north to south, but if you air down the tires, it isn't difficult to go the other direction in a Bronco.

Also recommended for a full day trip is the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands NP. You need a permit to go on that one. The rangers recommend multiple days, but I did it easily in 10 hours in my Bronco.

Gratuitous photo from that drive:

Awesome! Keep them coming!
I didn’t even think about permits being needed. I’ll have to check out where and how to get them. Thanks for the heads up!
