Got a Wolfbox G900 Tripro and I’m trying to decide on a front camera location. I drive a Black Diamond with no front license plate, factory bumper, I‘m considering 3 spots and wanted to get any feedback.

Option 1: Use the included front license plate holder. Drill holes where the license plate would go and add the included bracket. But it seems weird to just have a camera sticking out on its own. It gets the view point I. Looking for, but seems a little low if there‘s a water crossing.

Option 2: On top of the bumper under the grill. Seems like the Camera would have a little more protection, but a tougher install.

Option 3: In the camera box in the letters on the grill. The camera doesn’t fit on its own, but a minor cut to the grill and it’s in. Seems harder to adjust the angle and not sure it gets the view point I’m looking for.

My goal for the front camera is to see where I‘m putting my tires when off-Roading.

Thank you for choosing our product. The front bumper cam and the rear cam are water-proof, so you don't need to worry about it when cross a creek. But please MAKE SURE YOU DO SOME PRECAUTION ON THE CABLE CONNECTORS. If there's moisture in it, issue will happen.

I recommend you mount the front bumper cam on the bumper using 3M adhisive, screws or cable ties. You can slide on the screen to change the angle.

I would love to see your solution when you figure it out.

Got mine "for Xmas", mounting the front cam per the pic. It does stick out a bit, but you can angle it down for off-road, then back to horizontal for street driving. Ive got blue loctitie on the screws and shrink wrap on the connector.

Grill is definitely the cleanest look and like Wolfbox mentioned you do get some adjustment using the screen to get a better downward angle. I have mine mounted to my winch plate so can’t comment on the grill location from first hand experience. But seen plenty of people on here who have done it that way.

Keep us posted on your thoughts! I'm looking into grabbing one before Moab next year, but I'm just concerned the install will be crazy difficult. Especially the rear camera.

The install isn’t too bad as long as you are comfortable removing interior panels to do it cleanly. Realistically there’s enough room to just shove the wire through the top of the rear panel but I wanted to zip tie mine to the existing wires so I didnt have any rattle with the sub. Hardest part was fishing down the A-pillars To the fuse box. It was just very time consuming. If you do take the rear panels off just make sure to get some extra clips ahead of time. You will almost certainly break some getting it off.

This is how I mounted mine. This is only if you don’t have ACC.
