My steering rack decided it was done, and crapped out last night.
Begrudgingly, I ordered the Severe Duty rack for $1031 from Steeda, after shipping and taxes.

I considered having my extended warranty look at it, but it's not worth a month of back and forth, only for them to tell me my Apex tie rods were the issue, or my suspension upgrades.
It'll have to be flat towed to an offroad shop I know, but such is life I guess.

Got the Mabett license plate frame installed. My Bronco is finally fully road legal! I've also been turning heads with this vehicle today. There's not many full size Broncos around the area, so, this Squatch'd OBX is garnering some attention.

Heads up if you use drive thru car washes. The unsupported ends of your plate will get bent over the bracket. Just an FYI and why I took mine off, but I do install it when I go long distance or interstate. A top or backing frame may prevent it.

I installed pre-cut hood ppf (partial - covers from the grill to maybe half the hood) that I bought off ebay from China.
Watched a bunch of youtube videos, figured if some slack jawed two toed kid could do it, how hard could it be?

I did not enjoy doing it. But I did enjoy paying $80 vs who knows how much they charge in LA. I did get a quote for $500 to ppf the windshield which is waaaay easier to do...

p.s. my Bronco is Robin Egg Blue - for some reason the AWB on my phone makes it appear gray.

Nothing "to" or "with" lately, but one "for". Finally assembled the E-Z 4X4 roof lift my wife got me for my birthday. Probably won't use it for a few months here in the Pacific Northwest, but it will be ready when the weather turns.

$26 Amazon extra storage. Perfect fit, now I have a place to put my Pop Rocks.
A couple of reviewers mentioned they would hit it with their leg, but I found that not to be so. I guess this is down to your body shape/donut habit.

Finally was able to take a decent drive today. Mix of really heavy traffic and open roads. I kept it under 70 on the fwy but also had to deal w serious stop n go traffic for about an hour through the SoCal burn areas before the back roads opened up.

i gotta be honest, I am really impressed with this given it is on 35s. This puts it at well over a 400 mile range. My previous 2door 6mt Jeep Wrangler Rubicon w the Pentastar v6 at best would get maybe 18mpgs on a trip.

Tires were at the factory 39psi. After my planned 1k mile oil change I will lower to 36 psi to see how much that effects the ride quality. And what it does to range.
