Someone posted a memo that looked like it went to dealers that described the customer satisfaction program for the MIC tops as only affecting built thru 7/21.

Gonna see if I can find it again.

Either they stopped shipping MICs top Broncos as of July 21st, or the V2's have been ready ever since July 21st....

I'm 99% sure it is the former.

Well one thing is clear, they aren't going to give the dealers a bulletin (not tops) until the end of 3rd quarter 2021 (30 Sep 2021), and then sometime in October they anticipate kits becoming available - but who knows when in October!!! This assumes that Ford doesn't miss its targets, which could never happen, right?

That would be good for us if they have bad them ready since then. I read it to say the first part though, and they weren't shipping them.

While stalking the 8/19 Email Build Group thread I noticed quite a few First Editions were scheduled in September!

Could be a good sign for Dirt Mountain detainees! (Assuming they’ll put a New MIC on them)
🤞

I think it is a positive sign. They said the new MICs would go to delivered trucks first, then Dirt Mountain and then new FEs. If FEs are getting built w/o 9/20 and 9/27, we should have our tops by then. After all the poor communication, the last thing Ford should want to do is overpromise and underdeliver.

6/28 blend, 6/29 build. AMB 2dr Badlands, SAS, lux.

My hope is that they are producing the new tops while they are making all the soft top Broncos the next couple of weeks and replacing them in batches.

Ford is likely doing one of 2 things, and neither are being ahead of schedule. They are either scheduling now and plan on keep pushing the build dates back until the tops are finally ready, or Ford is planning on finishing the FEs first and really screwing us over on Dirt Mountain before we ever see movement.

Probably both.
