Any performance benefits? Sounds like it would allow for cooler air to enter, but that it would not be compressed. Besides the sound (it's not a subie) will it improve engine wear, better MPG, etc?

That's a very reasonable sound level. Any chance of red or blue anodizing?

Hey Dom,
At the moment all we have are silver and black anodized. I do not know if they plan on making them in any other finishes however if they do we'll be sure to make everyone aware.

Thanks!

We really don't see these as having performance/efficiency gains. Just a different way to relieve boost pressure and protect the compressor when the throttle closes. Air never enters with this. It's only vented out to atmosphere.

I think blue would be nice as an accent. Everything under the hood is either black or silver. LOL. Thanks for the reply. Oh, might be a dumb question and I'm to lazy to search, but does the 2.7 have one or 2 blow off valves?

Pretty neat, and price seems fair. I imagine installing this is going to have some sort of power train warranty impact though right?

Warranty stuff is a weird subject as it's really up to the dealer handling the warranty. Over the last 17 years I've been in this business having more modded cars than I can remember I've personally never had an issue with a warranty being voided especially for having simple bolt-on mods. However if you run into a dealer whose service dept isn't mod friendly they could potentially give you an issue. I always recommend taking the vehicle to a friendly service writer and make sure to tip them.

Hope that helps.

SOOOO my Bronco has different bolts(!) The supplied bolts had a wider thread (bottom in pic) than the bolts that TurboSmart supplied (top)

anyone else seeing this?

You can re-use your factory bolts with the Turbosmart valve. Just need an extended external torx socket as a short one will interfere with the valve when trying to tighten the factory hardware down.

I'll try it again... pretty sure I tried that, but will definitely try again!
