I'm in Somerset, would LOVE to find a group to do some off roading but there hasn't been much activity.

If everyones basically like Pine Barrens 7/11, Id just be like where we meeting prior to our expedition

Big fire in pine barrens - i'm sure i'll be clear by then, but something to keep an eye out for.

I’m in Bergen as well. Used to do a lot of off roading when living in CO, but don’t know much around here. I’d love to hear of spots closer than AOAA, etc

@mhorvath1218 Same ... I've lived in CA and UT and spent a lot of time on the dirt on bikes and trucks. I know there isn't as much around here but getting a group together would be fun.

There’s Reed Road in Jackson

I'm in Central NJ but would be down to take a trip if a few of you are doing something!

Like I said, Reed Road in Jackson is a good local spot, just aint been solo there

I'm in Bergen too. Been up to Stag Hill in Mahwah and Burnt Meadow Road in Ringwood few times. Just wets the appetite but better than nothing. Would be in to a group trip somewhere. I'm thinking PA maybe.

@SigSauer226 Hey have any info on how to access those trails? I have heard of them but have never been. Would love a local place to just ride around. PM me if you dont want to post publicly.

@Jornum1 Burnt Meadow Rd is a public road in Ringwood and it becomes unimproved between Ringwood and West Milford. You can drive right through from one town to the other. Just punch it in your GPS.

Stag Hill is a little more hidden. Go up to the pet cemetery top of Stag Hill Rd. There is a little dirt road today looks like a driveway. It will take you down to the right of way. We ride ATVs up there mostly but I took the Bronco one Sunday and there were like 10 jeeps lol. It was packed. I got a nail in my tire lot of garbage. Got a flat.

Burnt Meadow was easier, less worry but it's really not that big. One turnoff but it got tight at spots. Not looking to get pinstripes yet

@SigSauer226 Thanks, I will have to check them out. Im dying to get on some trails but just dont have time to run out to PA. I have 10 acres in my back yard that I ride ATV's with my kids. Has some fun little obstacles I have built but gets boring quick! I will have to go explore those just to get off the pavement.

Heard of Aaoa in PA, might be fun to go there

@JoeSpeed AOAA is fun, I have been there a couple times riding ATVs. Havent had the time to take my Bronco yet. Its a 2 1/2-3 hour drive so not close by any means. Its a long day for a day trip. AOAA and Roush Creek are on my To do list. Wharton State forest is fun to play around in. Still a 2 hour drive from up here. Plus you have to fight the shore traffic on a weekend. I know there has been some forest fires down there so I dont know what is open. I still have sand washing out of places from playing there 2 months ago!

See my post above... going to AOAA on Sunday (July 24th)... been there (and Rausch Creek) a few months back and had a blast!

Bergen County also. I’m sure we have already seen each other on the road. For the NJ people, there is the Trans New Jersey Trail. I have done sections of it on separate occasions. Starts at High Point and ends at Cape May.
