Although college football season is upon us (FINALLY!) the bug to hit trails once more has me thinking about Labor Day weekend, that Sunday is my target to hitting Grassy Gap trail and the connected network. Technically, you can do close to 40 off-road miles without seeing any pavement. Grassy connects up with Coopers Gap trail and together that’s around 15 miles. Most of the network is rather easy if you have at least 33s, but 2 sections have a few fun spots and water to cross, but nothing deep. Grassy Gap is rated as a “3” and Cooper is a “1”. it’s all pretty forest at elevation and basically in Dahlonega. This would be fun for 4-7 Broncos to enjoy the day so let me know if any interest.
