Although college football season is upon us (FINALLY!) the bug to hit trails once more has me thinking about Labor Day weekend, that Sunday is my target to hitting Grassy Gap trail and the connected network. Technically, you can do close to 40 off-road miles without seeing any pavement. Grassy connects up with Coopers Gap trail and together that’s around 15 miles. Most of the network is rather easy if you have at least 33s, but 2 sections have a few fun spots and water to cross, but nothing deep. Grassy Gap is rated as a “3” and Cooper is a “1”. it’s all pretty forest at elevation and basically in Dahlonega. This would be fun for 4-7 Broncos to enjoy the day so let me know if any interest.

@Rspayde That event has their own trail dug on the property. It's short, but a little interesting. Not $40 interesting, but the overall event should be fine. Jeep event trail ride was $30, so there goes that Bronco tax again..... lol!

@Bee Bop Happy to have you roll with us. We should meet up basically at the trailhead that Sunday, maybe 9 or 10am. Trail address of sorts is 3326-3358 Black Mountain Rd. There are no street signs or number markers. Trail starts as a northwest turn off the road. There's a small but decent sized area there where I'll air down and whoever else joins, can't miss us. Not sure you'll have the best cell coverage in this area, but we carry GMRS radios and usually are on channel 4 or 5 depending on if others are on one. Will finalize the time next week and post back here. Feel free to DM either me or MyATV as well. Should be some fun.

For Sunday’s trail ride starting with Grassy Gap, think 10am would make it a not so early morning start. Details above for any who’d like to roll along. @MyATV If there are sprinkles, even more fun, but forecast looks scattered, so likely none at all. Ha!

Will plan on joining. I’m new to the forum so will look forward to connecting with fellow Bronco owners.

@JF Bronc Meetup time at the trailhead would be 10am, but some folks will be meeting at the Dawsonville RaceTrac on GA400 by 9am, and then caravanning on from there.

@SAS OBX SOB Good stuff! Glad you guys will make it out. I’ll be there in my 2 Dr Green Bronco likely airing down just before 10. GMRS/FRS Channel 4. If that one is chatty, will switch to CH 5. See you guys in the morning.
