Looking to put something together or tag along for a trail ride the weekend of the 31st. Looks to be getting warmer as of now (but that likely could change).

Will be looking to make a trek up to Chattanooga once Haley road opens back up in Mid March. If anyone knows of any other worthwhile trails between there and Atlanta let it be known.

I've been thinking about a ride and that weekend has no football, so could be nice. If Chatt is too far for some, maybe some trails around the Blue Ridge area? The trails I mentioned a few weeks ago still hold and should be decent. I just want to get out.

I’m down for either, if we are going farther out I just need a few more details as I expect that will be a whole day trip if not longer and need to keep the wife informed.

Also picked up a GSMR radio and got it hooked up and installed last weekend, so I won’t need to borrow yours @MadMan4BamaNATL !

Also started looking into coilovers, and will probably pull the trigger on that once tax money gets back, so I’ll be more on an even level with you guys =)

We'll be doing a segen6 haley rd ride probably a week or two after they open. March 15 there's a Beasley knob trail repair day (I figure haley will be packed on the first day anyway)

Worth driving over to some of the scenic spots in Prentice Cooper if you haven't been in there before. (Go west to east on Haley).

There's also the big fork area nearby with some pretty sizable rock ledges that are fun

Alright so who is putting this route together? I am likely looking at camping out near wherever we will be starting Friday night since the weather looks to be pretty warm this weekend.

@Rspayde Well, I have a route and will send you the first turn in and trails marked. We can alter or do someplace else altogether; doesn’t matter to me, just want to ride. Looks like sunshine, so hope to have some peak views.

@MadMan4BamaNATL Sounds good to me. I am assuming there are camp slots out near where ever you have the start.

We could just do down old bucktown and cashes valley worst case scenario. I know where I can find somewhere to sleep out there.

Ok, so Ryan and I have a route. To keep the meet up easy, we'll meet at old faithful Nimblewill Church and head in through FS 28-1, keeping right and heading up Coopers Gap, then over left, to Rock Creek which also connects to a cool loop with views in 69C. Let me know if any of you use GAIA GPS, or TrailsOffroad App for some waypoints and to help with Nav. If we come back down and if enough time and energy, Old Bucktown Road can be on the menu as well.

A 9:00am meet up time for this Saturday, February 1 sounds good as well.
