So for anyone interested in shipping their Bronco down from Granger .... I have posted about Lepke Auto Transport in previous posts. I have been shipping with them for the past 6 years (2 cars) and every time they beat the multiple quotes I attain. Current quote I have is $850 from Granger to North Atlanta. So just an FYI to help cost compare.

I am hoping there's a chance to be able to ship multiple Broncos to GA. Lepke stated that, if possible, they could discount the quotes by @$50. And of course, coordination of such a task will be difficult in so many ways, but at least Granger is a dealer to help make that happen. In either case, the savings are still far better than any local dealer thus far ... even with solo shipping included!

Cheers

I'm game! Like you said though, the Broncos arriving close together in Iowa might be a pipe dream but worth a shot!

Agreed! Hopefully Granger will have some kind of heads-up as to what is inbound to him, and maybe that way we could coordinate. It wouldn't bother me much to wait a handful of days to group em together. Would be kind of fun to meet over our Bronco's ....

No doubt! Same here. Waiting a 10 months or so, whats another couple days

I have only ordered BMWs new before but my experience is once your order is actually in the bank you get a “build week”. This should help figure out who is together.

Ill probably get pushed back because currently I plan on changing my order from FE to Lux pack Badlands as I want more color and interior options.

I am not sure if I am going to ship or find a local shop to do ppf when it arrives and drive it.

Ah ... that's a good point about the build week. A friend is getting the 2020 Vette and he gets the same emails about the state of his order. That would really help us in our planning. As for the PPF ... would be interesting to find out if Granger will be offering such a service to get an idea of price? Also, mine might get pushed out as well with the Velocity Blue choice ... assuming that is the color I go with.

@GiddyUp I am a PPF snob. I generally wont even let dealers wash my cars. ?

Thanks for the info and I might move my 2 reserved Bronco's over to Granger.

Welcome ... and yup, that's what I did as well. Don't want to be left out on that kind of deal, or to be stuck with a local dealership I don't care for.

@GiddyUp That's amazing! Just curious, how is the sales tax affected if we purchase out of state?

Sales tax works the same in the sense that you will pay your local residence county tax. There are some states that are "reciprocal" meaning that the two states would essentially share the tax. IA is not, and Granger had mentioned in a thread that they will ask us what our county tax rate is, apply that amount to the loan, and then cut a check back to us in order to pay for the tax. Which is fantastic service!

@GiddyUp Why would you do all that rather than just pay it when you title the car in GA? I assume you're putting a downpayment down so make part of that the tax.

Should only be like $4,300 on a loaded FE

@Dmk08 True, and what I stated was an "option" or "choice". So folks don't want, or can't, put down that lump sum of money. Will also depend on what financing Ford will offer etc. In either case, Granger makes it nice to have the choice.

Some dealerships will just sell you the car and let you deal with the tax burden firsthand. Meaning, the tax will not be included into your loan amount, and will have to have that money on hand to pay the tax office.

I agree that Granger is making it very flexible and easy for customers.

I agree Granger is very easy to deal with. I just placed my order with them for my Bronco Sport Cyber Orange now we just wait unitl we can place our order for the Bronco and leaning heavily towards Cactus Gray with the White top.
