Hopefully everyone made it back through that rain. Idk if I have ever seen that much rain in my life.

Little River (trail 8) ended up being a bit to much for the non sas crowd and I'll take the blame for that not being addressed prior. Trail 9 was a known no go for us.

Found out my winch works and made it off 8 without issue. Sorry for bailing and hauling off in another direction at the end. Got hung up at the river and was already seeing red from billy backwater and the traffic jams so I just decided to separate from the pack.

I'm going to relinquish myself to camping and nimblewell trips until I upgrade the tires. Lot of work today for little reward.

To the SAS crowd y'all did great today and glad I could help spot some. To my non sas people we'll get em next time.

Had a great time today, lots of learning, more importantly many pointers to upgrades.

@BrowniesBD The journey is part of the fun. When it’s new is some of the best fun you’ll have. Now you know some limits and the importance of coming prepared. Also think a few folks should first invest in personal gear. Far too much cotton and not proper footwear and socks. Even I forgot my rain jacket, but all of my clothing was quick dry and technical. Drive home wasn’t bad at all besides wet feet, but was wearing wool socks and even wool underwear. Catch some off-season sales to save some $$. No one did bad on yesterday, everyone made it out with no damage. Was a good day.

For those of ya'll interested in a repeat, I'll be back up there next Sunday. Trail 9 will be on the agenda. The Jeep outfitter gives out badges for conquering that one. I'm looking forward to picking up my 2nd one. 🙂

Did ya'll run through any of those mud puddles that smelled like cow shit?

@Rspayde Don't sweat it man, a hard day of wheeling is good for the soul. In the end, no Broncos damaged, good spotting. Extra points to @JF Bronc who was above and beyond and to your dad for all of the spotting help. Was muggy, muddy, and got crazy wet. I and several others got soaked airing up. I had to roll with 2 under inflated until I could find a covered spot, first one I couldn't due to lightning. Was wild, but a fun day. 8 was crazy and 9 was very Beasley Knob like, but overall a ton of fun. If I were on 37s, would have walked all of it, so gives me something to think about. Mud was and usually is smelly; why I hate it . Lucky only drove through it and the rain cleaned the Bronco decent enough that I didn't need to find a car wash. Win, Win! Beach is on tap this week and need it for sure now.

Big ups to @Rspayde for leading the charge yesterday. Really appreciate you getting everyone through the day, Ryan and especially for coming back up the trail to help spot on 9. We asked more of you than what was reasonable.
All the rain we’ve been seeing this season deepened the ruts far more than expected, requiring 35s and making the drop offs on 9 legit.
I’m very thankful to everyone for hanging in there and not back tracking on 9 as was suggested by my new Jeep friend running up 9. Good confidence maker to move through all the obstacles.
Great to see @Thel3lindMan showing off his 3 wheeling skills with the new badlands and his wife and daughter seemingly unfazed.
Also wanted to send thanks to Ryan’s dad. Great guy (jealous of the new raptor) and was really glad he was there to help spot.
Sorry with the fire hose from above experience at the end of the day that I didn’t get to properly thank everyone for the ride and especially for plowing ahead undeterred.

Had a good time as usual with the ride, even my buddy with his Cherokee also enjoyed it. Thanks to our leads for organizing and getting us through. Definitely more inclined to upgrade tires but I'm worried about my simple axels. Looking forward to the next one.

Sorry I missed the trip, but it sounds like it was quite the high adventure!

Hey does anyone have mapping of the trail system there? I want to check it out in the next couple weeks.

@DREWR13 I turned on recording for the track in Gaia GPS, but left it on for quite a while, so it includes trails 8-9 and the linkages. Starting wasn't the very beginning, but close enough where GPS should take you right to the spot. Let me know if you want it and I'll DM to you.
