For anyone that read the post I put up about 41% of orders not buildable and have an order with us, I just confirmed all of our orders are clean 19s or 99s. This means if it's buildable Ford will be able to preview it. That doesn't mean you're going to get pulled, it just means everything is in correctly on our end. If the rules change or more constraints pop up we will contact you and make adjustments as needed.

I apologize for this being a cluster from the beginning and appreciate your patience with Ford as they try to un cluck this mess. I swear, it's not this hard to buy a vehicle but they are doing everything they can to prove me wrong. 🤭

Thanks Flip, I was originally told by my dealer, Don Hinds Ford in Noblesville, that I was #30 out of about 60 allocations. (Res #10227**, OBX, no-squatch, A51, 4dr, 2.7: tow, high pkg, MIC top, non-auto trans) now, as of last week I seem to be closer to 54 by reservation number! And they are strictly MSRP too. I know there is still a lot of moving parts, and circumstances beyond control, but geez! I really starting to lose hope of a MY21

@IndyBoswell I was worried when people were moving reservations based on time or number because there was never a guarantee or assurance from Ford they would be able to stick to either of those formulas. They gave themselves enough wiggle room to change if needed but now it looks like it's strictly lottery with some weight to time stamp. If everyone has a "clean" 19 build in the system that is pretty much the extent of the variables either the customer or dealer has control of. It's amazingly frustrating for you as well as us. It would be one thing if Ford was feeding us timely information to pass along but you know it when we do. I can't decipher some of this stuff and can't imagine what customer's think. Well, I can because there is every possible theory is somewhere on the forum.
Big wins for me at this point are the next preview follows time stamp as much as possible and we get a big chunk of our allocation scheduled. We won't know for at least a week which seems like eternity but that's in part due to commodities, folks still changing their builds and unspoken issue of chips. We got another sales commodity email from Ford, nothing really for big broncos but sport is done for the '21 model year and Copilot 360 2.0 is going to be choked down. This tells me the chip issue is coming into play without them saying so much. Maybe they are being proactive and diverting this stuff to the bigs to eliminate one more thing from holding up production. Time will tell but it's very frustrating.
