Well it looks as if there may be a demo Big Bend at Ted Russell. Saw this video on YouTube. Anyone truly know of this demo and if it can be test driven?

The one on Kingston pike has not gotten theirs yet its in transit.

According to my Sales contact, That one was purchased by the Sales manager (hmmm)……..it’s in the showroom but no test drives. The demo should be there in the next few days.

@KnoxGnater hmmmm that’s interesting. I thought no one could buy any on lots as of yet and that demos went to dealers and that those with reservation orders or canceled reservation orders were delivered dealerships after that. Do you know what trim the demo is and if it’s 2 door or 4 door?

@DBrab_1914 No idea what the demo will be. I was super suspicious about how they got the one in the video, but they’ve also been very open about it, no sense of them trying to hide anything. If it was an FE or constrained commodity build id call shenanigans. At this point just glad they have one to go look at. I changed to soft top in the hopes of getting mine this year. Was planning on aftermarket fastback style but I can do that later.

That’s true. I was just surprised to see a video of one in Knoxville so soon. Wasn’t the trim or engine that I’m interested in, but I’m glad they got to at least drive one. I’m still going between ordering a 4-Dood OBX or Wildtrak, but I’m just not sold on that sandstone interior in the Wildtrak. Plus, it makes no sense you can’t get an armrest with cup holders on cloth just leather only. I’m ordering mine this fall since I want the MIC top, I know it’s a deadly sin but with this being a $50k vehicle I’d rather get the top I want then have to switch it but who knows I might change my mind by the fall lol. Side note, Two Rivers Ford is getting a Big Bend and Wildtrak. Still waiting to hear when they arrive.

I dropped by TR again today to look at the soft top in more detail since I changed my order. They now have an Area 51 Badlands SAS 2.7 factory soft top in the showroom. I fell in love all over again, man they look good in person!

Also the guys from the video above were outside with the Sales Manager. I chatted with him and his order is 100% legitimate, he's obviously got the fever like the rest of use and got lucky on delivery due to the options he ordered. I regret any thoughts of shenanigans!!

He also confirmed pricing stands on what was agreed to at the time of order if you have an order currently. If you walk in off the street and want one that somebody has walked away from, or was a demo then you can expect to pay ADM. Given the supply chain and how free market economies work, I can't fault them for that.

Thanks for the update. I definitely want to see that Badsquatch since I keep debating between trims (Outerbanks, Wildtrak, and Badlands). Is it in the showroom at the TR on Parkside or Kingston Pike?

Which TR? The one on parkside or kingston? Glad you got to see it. Thanks for the share. Im assuming its a 4dr due to soft top.

They are all 4 doors so far. I was at Parkside but the demo was at Kingston pike according to the SM. I’m going to schedule a test drive tomorrow.
