As you may all know, we lost Albert this last weekend. He meant a lot to many of us on this forum. He is one of the key reasons many of us have decided to purchase from Granger. He gave his best to help all whether you were a Granger customer or not. He will certainly be missed.

Many have been honoring Albert by changing their forum image. Our forum member @elmystico has put his excellent design skills to use honoring Albert with a couple of images. I have attached them to this message. He has also created some stickers and shirts for purchase. Proceeds are going to be donated. Thanks to elmystico and the Colorado group for leading the charge to honor Albert!

The PayPal donation link is here:

Royalties will go towards a donation as well.

Here is the original link to @Zach@Granger post about Albert with the link to his memorial page. You may drop a unique message there for his family, make your own donation or order your own flowers if you choose to go that route!

Here's is the link to the organization the monies will go to in Albert's name. The Denmark Fire & Rescue. If you're not familiar with this type of organizations they get very little money form there local government, and operate mainly on donations. In 1985 our local Rescue Rescue squad, who has been absorbed into our county EMT's services, saved my wife's life after a terrible head-on. These good people are mainly volunteers, and do this job out of the want to serve the people of their community. If you check out their FaceBook page give them a like while you're there. It will give them an idea of how much Albert meant too us.

Excellent, thank you for getting this organized and put out there for us forum members to have a chance to honor and celebrate Albert. A man who seemed to have his priorities in order and just an all around good guy.

Just sharing what others had started. The Colorado Group took the lead here. Albert was a rare breed indeed! Sorry to not get a chance to meet him in person.
